The world is starving to get some glimpses of the Bollywood’s newly-wed couples Deepika and Ranveer. The nation sparkled after the couple released their first official wedding photo’s on their Instagram handles. As one of the best wedding photographers in Mumbai, we were also eagerly waiting to see the creative photographs of this destination wedding
The couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh Bhavnani adjudicated their wedding proclamation via posting a joint wedding card to their respective Instagram handle at the same time, written in both, Hindi and English.
The Wedding Date
While all of us know their wedding date, but there is something really momentous about these dates. The wedding happened on November 14-15, which is also the date when their first film together – ‘Ram Leela’ was released in 2013. Deepika is the queen of fashion and Ranveer is no less the fashion king himself so it is all right to say that our eagle eyes were looking for what they wore and the how they styled it.

Since then, glimpses from the big fat Indian wedding were shared by the couple’s close associates. In this blog we’ll share some of our close observations on their wedding dress and bridal jewellery.
Deepika Padukone wore a Kanjeevaram saree in a gold zari border on her Konkani Wedding day. Keeping in touch with her south indian origin, she wore a traditional Guttapusali, Jhumkas and mathapatti.For her makeup, Deepika kept it simple, going matte with face. She was wearing a brown smokey eye, paired with a nude lip. She’s got considerably light with her contour; it’s almost insubstantial! Deepika bought her look together with one small red bindi.
Ranveer, on the other hand, kept it minimal ,wearing Shalle Panache, an outfit that a traditional Konkani groom would wear.
For the Anand Karaj ceremony, they both wore the traditional red. Deepika choose a red lehenga. Her dupatta has been craved with the Sanskrit shloka, “Sada Soubhagyavati Bhava” which translates to “Have a blessed destiny always”.
Her jewelry consisted of large nath, maang tikka, red chooras and kaleeras. Her Kaleera & Chooras are by Raa Abta by Rahul ( create hyperlink ). However, what was shimmering through the photo is her huge solitaire ring, which Deepika is wearing with all her other jewelry.
Keeping her makeup analogous, Deepika had chosen to go with pink shimmer & black smokey eye, with false lashes. This makeup of the day was also matte and her base was unblemished as usual. After a two-day extravagant wedding celebration in Italy, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have been finally declared Man and Wife.
